Bertha’s exhibition at the Spokane public library is covered by the local newspaper (January 29, 1967)
“At the library, there are 16 portraits on exhibit by Miss Ballou, well-known portrait painter of Spokane (…) Miss Ballou now has her attractive studio in what was formerly the carriage house on her family’s grounds.”
